I totally forgot to post the Mother’s Day weekend happenings that went on with us and it’s nearly been a whole week since! (…although, based on my past record, one week late with a post is practically ahead of time.). Anyway, the Friday before the big day, I was invited to Olive’s class for ‘muffins with Mom’. Here are some cute pics I took with my phone…

Yep, that’s for me…a hand crafted, custom wishing well that I wasn’t allowed to look at the whole time I was in the class room, even though it was sitting on my little placement, right in front of me, and all the other moms got to admire theirs. Apparently she wanted to surprise me with it on Sunday. Seriously, do you know how difficult it is to avoid gazing upon a fluorescent green terra cotta and clothes pin wishing well that rests approximately four inches from the blueberry muffin I’m eating? (all the while sitting in one of those teeny preschool chairs).

We did have a time though 🙂

P.S. She even made me hold it when we got home while she found a super secret hiding place (I had to close my eyes while it was in my hand).
